The Christian Dior museum, formerly the childhood home of the famous couturier, is a place of memory dedicated to the influence of the life and work of Christian Dior, from his childhood in Granville to the worldwide success of his fashion house. The villa "Les Rhumbs" is located in a remarkable Belle Epoque-inspired garden overlooking the sea, facing the archipelago of the Chausey Islands. Fitted out between 1906 and 1930 by Madeleine Dior and her son Christian, it was a major source of inspiration for the couturier. Since 1997, every summer, a temporary exhibition has been held whose theme is linked to the fashion created by Christian Dior and the fashion house that bears his name.
